What You’ll Do

You’ll contribute right away as a member of one of Salesforce’s Scrum teams, working on one or more software engineering aspects of upcoming product releases — Salesforce ships 3 major releases a year through its Customer 360 Platform. Responsibilities include developing solutions that integrate into distributed systems at significant scale, writing optimized code that may ship as part of a real release, and contributing to Salesforce’s suite of automated tests and testing infrastructure. You’ll also help build tools and solutions to support and monitor various cloud services, and get exposure to owning your service in production using real-time monitoring frameworks — genuinely broad engineering-lifecycle experience for an internship.

Eligibility

  • Enrolled in sophomore year or higher at a college/university, or any year at graduate school
  • Working towards a B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Circuit Branch, graduating in 2028
  • Academic or professional/internship experience
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A self-starter mindset with strong self-motivation
  • Ability to communicate technical challenges clearly and propose solutions
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous or undefined problems, with the ability to think abstractly

Desired skills: experience with Java, C++, or Python; knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js; coursework in SQL and relational databases; strong grounding in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
