How the Program Works
mthree’s model is different from a typical direct-hire role: you first join mthree’s Academy for 6-12 weeks of interactive, small-class training delivered by industry experts. After that, you’re placed with one of mthree’s clients — investment banks and major companies across industries like healthcare, aviation, and insurance — for 12-24 months as an mthree Alumni, working on real production systems including algorithmic trading engines and regulatory reporting. Throughout this placement, mthree continues supporting you with salary increases every 12 months and an ongoing learning plan. After the placement period, most graduates continue their career directly with the client.
What You’ll Do
As part of the program, you’ll design, build, test, and maintain scalable, stable applications — either off-the-shelf software or custom-built technology solutions — working within a global team. Depending on your placement, this could mean supporting systems as significant as algorithmic trading engines or regulatory reporting infrastructure, giving you real exposure to high-stakes, production-grade systems early in your career.
Eligibility
- Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related STEM subject
- Academic aggregate of 60% or higher, with no standing arrears/backlogs
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C, C++, or similar languages
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Solid grounding in software engineering principles — data structures, OOPs, design patterns, multithreading
- Understanding of the formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Understanding of test-driven development
Good to have: competitive coding experience.
Selection Process
The program runs through eight structured stages: application, an aptitude and coding assessment, a communication screening, a technical interview, a final interview, selection into the 6-12 week Academy training, an end-of-training assessment, and finally, placement into the client role that best matches your skills and interests.
