What You’ll Do
You’ll design and evaluate computer vision and image processing algorithms for embedded devices, then work on developing and optimizing those algorithms for hardware acceleration. This includes designing solutions to be implemented across both hardware and software prototypes, and supporting product teams through commercialization — solution optimization, performance profiling, benchmarking, and test regression and release support. Given the “3A” focus (autofocus, auto-exposure, auto-white-balance), you’ll be working on the algorithms that directly determine camera image quality on Qualcomm-powered devices.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in multimedia/embedded technologies
- Programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Strong knowledge of data structures and hands-on C/C++ programming experience
- Experience working with image processing algorithms
- Knowledge or working experience in computer vision algorithms
Good to have: experience with real-time/embedded systems; knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD frameworks; exposure or working experience with Vision or Multimedia accelerators; software optimization experience across SIMD and multi-threading.
